I had the pleasure of photographing Amanda & Hunter in Glacier National Park at Lake McDonald on a chilly January morning. First things first, props to Amanda and Hunter for being absolutely nuts and embracing the frosty weather with open arms (and plenty of layers). I mean, who schedules a photoshoot in the middle of January in Montana? Oh yeah, these two crazy lovebirds haha!

We kicked off the day with the kind of excitement that only comes when you mix love, laughter, and sub-zero temperatures. Armed with layers of clothing, Amanda and Hunter were so much fun to work with, turning the icy landscape into their personal playground. I have had the pleasure of working with them in the past, so I knew this would be a very fun shoot!

Amanda & I met when we worked at Starbucks together, and shortly after we met, she also became my neighbor. It was actually perfect, because we loved working together and hanging out, plus she had the best dog ever!

I knew Glacier would be a perfect spot for them, because I already knew that Amanda loves the park, since her and I had visited Lake McDonald a few times in the past few years. Amanda & Hunter are literally perfect for each other and I was so lucky to capture all the laughter and love that day.

We wandered through the snow-covered park, making sure to capture all those cozy moments. I'm pretty sure Amanda's cheeks turned red from the cold, but she didn’t complain once. Hunter, on the other hand, was wearing a comfy and warm look, which I was kind of jealous of.

The photoshoot wasn't just about capturing smiles against a snowy backdrop; it was about embracing the beauty of love in every season. We literally ran on the frozen lake, all while capturing the most heartwarming moments.

By the end of the shoot, we were all freezing and covered in snow and probably looked like we just stepped out of a holiday card. Truly, it was worth every shiver! Amanda and Hunter's adventurous spirits and genuine connection made this snowy day unforgettable.
