I'm Stan, a Montana elopement photographer based in Kalispell, and I photograph weddings all over Northwest Montana too. I moved here from Bulgaria in 2016, married a Kalispell native two months after we met, and I get genuinely excited about couples planning a day that feels like them, whether that's two people on a trail at sunrise or a whole family in a backyard in the Flathead.
Whoever you are and whoever you love, bring the wild idea. I'll bring the permit, the timeline, and the light.

Home is a little over half an hour from the west entrance, so Lake McDonald at sunrise is just an ordinary weekday for me. I know which lots fill before breakfast, which overlooks still feel like yours at noon, and where we go if the sky changes its mind, because I've already shot that plan B. I'll walk you through the Glacier Special Use Permit, plan the day around road openings and where the light lands, and pass along the vendor list I'd hand my own friends. So when the day comes, you won't be meeting a stranger with a camera. You'll be meeting someone who knows how you two started, what you're nervous about, and the one moment you can't wait for.
